What Is Hip Impingement?

Hip impingement, also known as Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI), occurs when abnormal contact between the hip joint’s ball (femoral head) and socket (acetabulum) leads to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility.

Why Is It Happening?

Hip impingement is caused by bony abnormalities, muscle imbalances, poor movement mechanics, or joint instability. Activities like squatting, running, or prolonged sitting can aggravate the condition.
